SolidWorks, Abaqus, Arduino, C
-
Researched, designed, and manufactured a pneumatically powered FGM actuator that was structurally simpler than conventional soft actuators, but yielded equivalent or higher outputs in force and displacement relatively
-
Designed components on SolidWorks, operated tensile tests on Instron, performed finite element analyses on Abaqus
-
Constructed a gesture-controlled object distribution system including a gripper assembled with the actuators, a robotic arm, a digital pneumatic system, and a gesture controller from a previous personal project (CN107485864A, Patent Pending)
-
Won the ASM International MQP Competition and the 2nd Place in the WPI Mechanical Engineering MQP Competition
Wearable Gesture Control Glove
Independent
May 2017 – August 2017
Control Engineering, Signal Processing, Electrical Engineering, Computer Programming, Soldering
Arduino, C, AutoCAD, Patent Writing
-
Designed and built a gesture controller glove based on Arduino to replace the joystick controller for remote control cars
-
Programmed the controller to recognize the position of the user’s arm to determine the driving mode, the rotation angle of the user’s hand to define the turning angle, as well as the bending angle of a user’s finger to determine the acceleration
Theo Jansen’s Animal Mechanical Linkage System
Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Financial Modeling for M&A Analysis:
Canadian Pacific’s Bid for Norfolk Southern
Brown University
March 2019 – April 2019
Corporate Finance, Financial Modeling
Excel
Background: "In December 2015, Canadian Pacific Railroad (CPR) has just made its third bid to acquire Norfolk Southern Corporation (NSC), one of the largest railroads in the United States. Having rejected the prior offers, NSC’s CEO James Squires and the NSC board must now value the current offer including the projected merger synergies as well as a recently added contingent value right (CVR) designed to “sweeten” the offer and decide how to respond." (HBSP)
Performed Valuation Analysis (LBO analysis as shown)
Produced a "football field" diagram to an optimized range of biding price.
